Rainbow colours from PMB brighten up blow moulded containers
A rapid colour match service and prompt delivery of masterbatch is critical if Newcastle-based Northumbria Blow Mouldings is to meet the tight deadlines imposed by its customers. PMB, the South Wales-based manufacturer of masterbatch, is the company's preferred supplier, creating a whole range of rainbow colours including yellow, orange, blue, green and violet in addition to black, white and silver for the company.
Northumbria, a member of the DNR Group, a one-stop packaging solutions company, manufactures blow moulded containers in sizes ranging from 100ml to 25 litres. New colours are frequently introduced, and colour matches and plaques for customer approval are often required at very short notice.
A rapid response is essential, as Northumbria Managing Director, Brian Wiper explains: "We depend on our key suppliers to work with us to ensure we meet our delivery schedules. PMB has been supplying masterbatch to Northumbria for a number of years. It is used to colour blow moulded containers for industrial chemicals and household goods in HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC and PET.
