PMB strengthens commercial team
PMB has announced the appointment of John Walters as Sales Director. The promotion follows a very successful four years as Business Development Manager for the company, during which time his ability to deliver cost effective solutions for colour match and performance has won him the respect of customers across the UK.
Commenting on his new role, John said: "Having spent time in the extremely competitive retail sector prior to joining PMB, I bring a commercial focus to the highly technical world of masterbatch. I aim to offer solutions that will give customers a competitive edge."
John took up his position on 1 April, heading up a reorganised and expanded commercial team which has been strengthened by the addition of David Sheen. Previously a successful member of the lab team, David has been with PMB for 10 years and his experience will create greater cohesion between field sales, customers and the internal development team.
PMB's expanding European markets will be overseen by Laurence Bradbury who has taken on the position of European Technical Sales Manager with responsibility for a portfolio of key accounts. He is looking forward to the challenge: "There are exciting opportunities to grow our business with the larger European moulders, particularly where PMB has a brand specification. Strengthening current relationships and pursuing new business further afield will be very rewarding and I am looking forward to using my language skills again."
Founded in 1974, PMB (Performance Masterbatches), based in Brynmawr, South Wales, is one of the UK's leading suppliers of masterbatch. Utilising the latest colour design and matching technology to deliver fast, accurate colour solutions, the company supplies plastics processors, contract moulders and end users, including many household name companies.
